An End to Beijing's Tax Breaks

 The big tax breaks offered by Beijing to the China-based producers will end on January 1, 2008, as part of a World Trade Organization subsidy settlement.  United States produced goods will be more competitive in markets around the world since the settlement ends the Chinese producer's ability to sell their items below the cost of raw materials.
